Quality control for packaging is very important because it can help you avoid additional costs and minimize waste. At LeKAC Sourcing, we value quality, so from our service to our products, we want to make sure we’re giving you the best of the best! With that being said, let’s take a look at our packaging quality control process!
Controlling the Packaging Quality Control Process
Before production even begins on your custom packaging, we’re on the hunt for the best producers. We want to make sure they are professional, and can produce the highest quality products.
Firstly, we request a sample of the factory’s previous work because being able to inspect an actual sample is a great way to see the quality of the products they produce.
Secondly, we inspect the conditions of the factory itself. We check the factory’s environment and make sure that it fits into the following criteria:
- Is the factory clean?
- Are they using state-of-the-art machinery?
- Is the environment professional?
During Mass Production
Once the factory has passed the initial inspection, we can now use them for production! After we finalize your design, we send it to the factory to get a sample.
We inspect each sample to ensure that it is exactly what was envisioned. We check the size, the colours, the materials and the printing. If everything looks good, mass production begins. This is also the ideal time to correct any mistakes.
During mass production, our overseas colleague goes to the factory and checks on progress. By doing so, we can prevent misprints and other mistakes!
Our overseas production colleague also takes photos and videos of the products to send back to our Canadian offices. This lets us make sure that what’s in mass production matches the original sample.
Near completion of mass production, we request another sample for inspection. We strive for the highest level of customer service, and this lets us do one final check before the products are shipped to you!
After Mass Production
Once production is complete, our overseas colleague performs one final inspection!
For most orders, we also have a third-party inspection company examine the final products. Then, the products are shipped right to your door!
Overall, from the point of conception to production and delivery, we strive to achieve a thorough packaging quality control process!
If any issues or potential shipping delays arise with your order, our experienced logistics and production coordinator do their best to provide a solution with you in mind! As a result, you can rest assured knowing your packaging is in capable hands!
