As November comes to an end, this can only mean the start of the busy holiday season!
Last month, we had a list of some really great and unique packaging – but what designs caught our eye this time?
Keep on reading to find out what it takes to be our top 5 packaging designs for the month of November!
MADE COFFEE’S CANNED COLD BREW
First up on our list is a product that gets the majority of us through a long work day.
MADE Coffee’s canned cold brew is a product with packaging that wakes us up just as much as the coffee does!
Their coffee cans are beautifully designed with a simple look and typography that gives it a vintage, yet modern feel.
What we love most about these cans are that they utilize blue and cream tones that work perfectly together.
Typically, coffee is associated with darker colours such as brown and burgundy. However, the use of cooler colours makes the product stand out on the shelf, making it a worthy packaging design for this month.

HUDA BEAUTY’S 12 DAYS OF BEAUTY ADVENT CALENDAR
In the spirit of the holiday season, Huda Beauty released their holiday advent calendar that truly catches your eye!
Beauty advent calendars are not new to the industry, but Huda Beauty did something unique with their packaging this year. Their 12-day calendar is in a big and beautiful box shaped exactly like a pair of lips!
Not only do the lips match what the brand is all about, but its unique packaging shape gives the business a fun and lively personality. Similarly, the red colour showcases that fun image by making a bold and bright statement most people will stop to look at.
In addition, its packaging structure is highly unique. It goes against the typical box packaging by creating a design free of rigid structures. It also includes fun inserts that you pull out to reveal the products.
This product is playful, spontaneous, and memorable – making it a great packaging design for November!

PUROLATOR HOLIDAY BOXES
We often talk about packaging and how it protects your products. However, it is not often brought up how the product actually gets to your customers. Well, shipping companies play a huge role in that!Â
This year, Purolator, a Canadian courier company, released 13 limited-edition holiday boxes for this season.
What is really unique about each box design, is that it is individually created by independent and emerging Canadian artists from each province or territory.
Every design encompasses the artist’s own interpretation of the winter and holiday season. Additionally, the designs also illustrate the unique perspectives of those living in different parts of Canada.
With the Covid-19 pandemic impacting a lot of small businesses, this is a great way to make a mailer box more special by celebrating local Canadian artists!

KITSCH BOTTLE-FREE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER BAR
In one of our previous blog posts, we talked about how being eco-friendly can add value to your packaging. The next business up on our list, Kitsch, does just that!Â
A female-owned global accessory brand, Kitsch recently released a shampoo and conditioner bar with a packaging design that eliminates the use of plastic bottles.
Their product is best used with their beauty bar bag. The mesh fabric on the bag allows the bar to achieve super foamy suds when washing! You can then hang the bag up to allow the bar to dry – no more slippery soap dishes!
Did you know that one Kitsch bar is equivalent to 100 washes? That’s equivalent to two plastic bottles saved!Â
By creating a bottle-free product, it definitely catches the attention of consumers with a more eco-conscious mindset.
Furthermore, the minimalist design for their bars is very simple and sleek, matching the overall feeling of their brand and style.

KYLIE X THE GRINCH COLLECTION
Finally, if you’re a beauty and makeup fanatic, then you’ve definitely heard of this very popular holiday makeup release!
Kylie Cosmetics, arguably one of the most well-known makeup brands, teamed up with Dr. Seuss to launch Kylie x The Grinch Collection.
The Grinch is one of Dr. Seuss’s most famous characters and to have these two brands work together was a shock to the beauty industry!
This makeup collection truly emulates the holiday spirit and what it means to use your packaging as a marketing tool.
Furthermore, each product and its packaging matches the theme of the Grinch perfectly. The use of green, red, and gold colours makes the products pop and leaves a long-lasting impression on the audience.
Additionally, for the PR boxes sent to influencers, the products are held in a rigid box that looks like a real-life book. Now that is something you won’t be throwing away!
This collection is super fun and makes a great first impression, which is why it’s one of our favourite packaging designs this month!
