It’s All in the Details – Why Packaging Accessories are Important

Let’s talk accessories.

No, no. Not jewellery, handbags or sunglasses. I’m talking about little additions to complete your packaging and make it unforgettable.

Packaging is, in most cases, the first contact that a consumer will have with your brand. Don’t you want to stand out?

By adding accessories to your packaging, you can be sure to attract your target audience. Furthermore, you and your brand are more likely to gain recognition in the future.

Ribbon

One of our more popular accessory options is the personalised ribbon. A satin or velvet ribbon can be wrapped around the product, attached to the side with an adhesive, or placed on top in the form of a bow. You can even use it in place of the typical rolled paper handle of a paper bag.

By printing your company name or logo on the ribbon, you’re creating a luxurious feel while also subliminally getting into the consumer’s mind.

Custom Inserts

By adding a custom insert to your box, you can ensure that all the pieces will be secure. Custom inserts can be made of various materials, including foam for extra cushion, or the same material as the primary packaging, creating one cohesive look.

Inserts or dividers show customers that you care. Instead of mindlessly placing your products in the box, you’ve gone the extra step to make sure it arrives safely. They’re easy to assemble and add great value to your finished product.

Tissue Paper

Add a delicate touch to your packaging with the use of tissue paper. You can keep it simple with one solid colour, add your logo or company name, or a completely crazy design.

Paper is an easy way to fill up your packaging product and give the illusion that it’s full. You can add tissue paper in sheet form, or shred it for a more whimsical effect.

Hidden Design

A major key to mastering the “unboxing” experience is the surprise element. Show off more than one side of your brand’s image with a sleek, demure outside, but a fun and fresh inside.

Many of our customers are adopting this type of packaging surprise as it makes the customer feel unique. Not everyone gets to see what they can, not everyone can experience the artwork that they do. Add to your customer’s overall encounter with your brand with a festive diagram, design, or comic on the inside of the packaging. Consider it thinking inside the box.
